Although she originally started as a lawyer, Tricia Meyer found her true calling in affiliate marketing. With the love of online technology coupled with her passion for connecting with people, she couldn’t have chosen a better stand.
At Sunshine Rewards, She and her team have created a place where people can not only shop but also connect with friends and earn cash back for everyday activities. Other sites belonging to the Lawyer turned affiliate marketer include niche sites such as HelpingMomsConnect.com which gives her the flexibility to a write about everything from product reviews to important news.
With the help of her vast affiliate marketing knowledge, she has been led into various consulting jobs from helping bloggers monetize their sites to helping merchants with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In addition, she has begun working with Traetelo.com to evolve into a full-scale marketplace solution.
Some of her major areas of specialty are, legal writing, blogging, video, affiliate marketing.
Tricia Attended Castle high school and later proceeded to Ball State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Political Science and Government between the year 1993- 1996, She was a vibrant member of the Student Government Association as well as Sigma Kappa.
After Ball State University, She made a decision to attend Indiana University School of Law- Bloomington where she obtained a J.D law. Between the year 1996-1999. Other activities and Societies she involved herself with during her stay at Indiana include Federal Communications Law Journal, and Moot Court.
After Law school, Meyer decided to join GAC as a Bankruptcy Coordinator. She stayed on this job for a little over a year before jumping ship to LexisNexis as a Quality and Training Manager. Here, she spent eight years from October 1999 to September 2007.
While at LexisNexis, She Initially started as a Case Law Editor then eventually moved into Quality and Training as a Quality Auditor. Later, she moved back into case law as an Editorial Manager and after Case Law Summaries became Case Law Enhancements, She became the Operations Manager for the Quality and Training Solutions team. She finalized her time at Lexis as a contractor for LBIR.
Her next stop was Tratelo where she served as a consultant; helping them expand their product offering for Latin America to include a greater variety of products and brands. Through both affiliate marketing and direct merchant relationships. Her responsibilities involved vetting and negotiating with merchants, developing appropriate marketing materials, and facilitating data feed integration on the merchant side.
Presently, she is the Executive Director of the Performance Marketing Association and the CEO of Sunshine Rewards and Helping Moms Connect.
